About

With a focus on contemporary visual art and representation from the local and regional art community, the Olin Art Gallery, located in Milas Hall, has continuously exhibited work since 2012 with several events each year, including the OSCAC project exhibition of student work each fall.

The Gallery was established in 2006 through the efforts of Duncan Murdoch, the former VP for Admission and Financial Aid and the inaugural exhibition featured artists from the Needham community. Since 2012, regular exhibitions have been made possible by the Michael E. Moody Professorship Fund, and the work of Helen Donis-Keller, Professor of Biology and Art, and Michael E. Moody. Professor.

“The Olin Art Gallery is a resource for engagement in the visual arts for the entire Olin Community and it exemplifies the goals of the Moody Professorship. It provides yet another means to enlarge the educational opportunities for our inherently creative engineering students.”

– Helen Donis-Keller, Professor of Biology and Art, Michael E. Moody Professor & Gallery Director
